Jaguar Monitoring

Funds are sought to purchase camera-traps and additional monitoring equipment as well as to pay for expeditions into the otherwise inaccessible mountains in the inside of the park where we will look for jaguar.

Wildlife Survey

Funds are sought to pay local salaries to conduct surveys and monitor wildlife use. Additional funds are sought to purchase equipment.

Local Training and Capacity Building

Funds are sought for local salaries to employ field assistants, researchers, and "resource guards" and purchase equipment necessary for their field work (GPS's and camera-traps).

Coral Reef Conservation

Funds are sought to purchase signs along the reef to make locals and tourists aware of laws protecting species. Additionally we seek funds to implement and develop a marine sediments and biodiversity monitoring program.

Field Station Renovation

Funds are sought for solar power cells, radio and communications equipment, tools and facilities development for the CBTC field station.
